It is our fervent conviction that we are called to live outside of ourselves and be actively involved in our local community as well as the broader national and global communities. Therefore, we are committed to fulfilling this goal through our resources and gifts. The following represent some of the endeavors we have been involved with in recent years:

Local and Regional - Every year we try to connect with a family in need, our own version of Extreme Home Makeover, with the hope of improving their life and living conditions. Last year, we—along with several of our vendors—were privileged to come alongside a Takoma Park, Maryland, family and built a brand new custom home for a fraction of the traditional cost. Currently, we are in the process of pursuing a similar project in the Laurel, Maryland area and look forward to similar results.

National - Nearly every year since Hurricane Katrina ravished the Gulf Coast States on August 29, 2005, Craig has led a team to Biloxi, Mississippi, to help bring relief and rebuild homes in an area that was nearly 90% destroyed by this storm. We hope to continue such efforts in the future as many needs are continuing to arise in multiple and various circumstances throughout the nation.

International - We remain actively involved with the needy and abandoned children of Honduras through a ministry called Manos Extendidas. By working with the local outreach community in Tegucigalpa, we provide resources to help impoverished families as well as children who are either orphaned or under-privileged. This takes instilling vision, goals and desires into them, letting them know that they are somebody and they can realize their potential, especially as they become involved with a trade school program. Education is stressed as the doorway to opportunity...and a brand new future.
